Welcome to my e-portfolio! My name is Taylor Mingle, and I am passionate about helping students discover confidence, direction, and meaningful connections throughout their career journey. I currently serve as a Career Data, Technology, and Engagement Consultant at the University of Florida’s Career Connections Center, where I support students, faculty, and campus partners in integrating career readiness tools and learning experiences across campus. This portfolio highlights projects that reflect my commitment to educational innovation, student development, and collaborative engagement. I’m glad you’re here, and I hope this collection offers insight into my values, work, and the joy I find in helping others grow.

Book Cover & Logo

For this project, I designed a book cover for the novel Dune by Frank Herbert and created a custom logo for a fictional coaching business called Focus Forward Coaching. In both designs, I applied color theory and I learned to use GIMP and Inkscape to bring my ideas from concept to final product.

Custom Quiz

For the Custom Quiz project, I built an interactive quiz on color theory. I customized both the HTML and JavaScript files from a template to create my own layout, questions, and style. I also focused on making the page visually engaging and fun to reflect the creative nature of the topic.

Drag & Drop Activity

For the Drag and Drop project, I customized both the HTML and CSS files to create an interactive sorting activity based on the NACE Career Readiness Competencies. I made more detailed adjustments to the layout, colors, and text styling to make the page visually clear and easy to navigate.

Learning Styles Video

For this project, I created a video about the four main learning styles. I produced the video in ClipChamp, incorporating still images, transitions, captions, a title card, rolling credits, and a voiceover to clearly communicate the content and keep the viewer engaged.

Animation

I created a short educational animation demonstrating how bees pollinate flowers. Using Adobe Animate CC, I built a simple 15-second clip that includes a custom title screen, vector-based graphics, and a looping motion path to show a bee traveling between two flowers. I added smooth fade transitions and designed the scene to visually match the narration.

Screencast

For this project, I created two different screencast videos to demonstrate practical ways to streamline content creation. The first video shows how to repurpose previously made Canva presentations as templates for new designs. I included visual cues, such as on-screen arrows, to guide viewers through each step as they followed along. The second screencast explores Biteable’s AI video generator and walks through how AI can support quick, high-quality video creation. Both videos were recorded using Loom.
